Hi everybody !
Today we going to talk about an important topic : doping. Now, I let a sportive man give us his point of view
about doping.
Your turn.
Thank you. Hello, my name is David, I am 17 and I am totally against doping and others means to boost ourself.
Indeed, I definitely think that using banned substances is cheating. And cheating is unfair.
In a way, I can understand that the athletes are ready to do anything to succeed, because I am a sprinter
who dreams to becoming a professional sprinter, and I want it over all.
However, using this kind of means is cheating, which is obviously quite inadmissible, but it is also dangerous for health.
For a long time I run and I nerver needed it to win races.
You only have to train regularly, hardly. The more we practice, the more we increase our level. It is normal.
All the more as it makes ourself proud, contrary to succeed taking drugs.
I tend to think that it is high time people did something to stop this.
Unless an increase of tests against doping, there will always be cheaters.
Not only in running but also in all the sports.
Today, we even heard some athletes who saying that doping should be legalized because
everybody should be responsible of his body. Yet another reason for the society
to protect these people against free will. Moreover, purely human sports become mechanical.
It would become a world where everyone runs to the best substance increasing performance.
All in all, doping hurts values of sports : fair-play, entertainment, competition, labor, effort, team spirit...
All these values it teaches us when we practice in club or at school. It is Sport which is bringing us together.
The example which doping gives us is bad. Indeed, it means that to win we must necessarily get victory by
artificial means and not by his own fury.
If doping was legalized, these values are forgotten.
To my mind, doping kills slowly the spirit of sport.
Nice ! Thank you !
Someone has something yet to say about that ?
