A lot of things have changed since the year 2023.

It seems like it was decades ago,it was only two years ago,my friend?Can you believe it ?Two years ago?.Do you remember how it happenned ?The sounds of all the screaming outside after the hurricane,after the earthquake,after the flooding?That weekend it all changed,Mother Nature chose to punish the whole world for the way we were treating her:as ungrateful little children who didn't know what were coming our way.You can lie all you want but we weren't children,the population knew what happened,the government knew what happened but we decided to close our eyes shut:and we got punished for it.And the drought- that begun and won't stop-is gonna kill us all !

I kept track of the time since it all started.I wanted to...a way to keep sane,to not fall slowly in the guts of a monster called dementia.

Well,where are my manners ?Let me introduce myself,my name is Corinna Nash and I'm a eighteen years old girl who got into this giant mess that the goverment got us into...Yeah maybe you're thinking « Here we go,another conspirationnist » but let me tell you about something...Well I can't tell you because...well ...I don't know you !

I guess we could interract until I'm sure you're worthy,I've been spying on you.Yes,I know that sounds creepy but man,try being an eighteen year old girl in a chaotic world.

As he finally finished reading the letter,William's eyes lit up.Corinna was the slight of hope he needed in his life now.Now how could he write her back?He didn't have much left,a couple gallions of water,three chocolate bars and weapons.Weapons was maybe what Corinna needed.
