The first verse
(I'm livin' on the edge, I'm pushin' all the way Don't worry 'bout a thing, some other sunny day My feet ain't touchin' ground and I'm runnin' hard and fast I'm pullin' all the strings and I'm sayin' it's the last) speaks about someone who have money and who don’t worry about the things that will happen in the future and that the money makes his day better, when he says “My feet ain't touchin' ground and I'm runnin'hard and fast I'm pullin' all the strings and I'm sayin' it's the last” it means that for having money he don’t do some good thing to have it, he is ready to do everything to have it and every times that do it he say that is the last time that he does it.
Chorus
“take away my plastic money” he uses plastic money, because the plastic is a substance which is used by the capitalism and for him this dehumanizing, plastic money is money that has no moral or sentimental value, so he doesn’t want to own it.
“keep away from plastic money” he says to stay away from this no value money or it will transform you ???
“Well, don’t you play with plastic money” Don’t play with this capitalist money cause’ this is bad.
“All you pay, oh that’s the way, with plastic money” he say that if you continue to pay with this capitalist money you will fall in the spiral of the capitalism machine.
Verse 2
“I’m playin’ with everythin’ and I’m lookin’ all around” He is playing with his money everywhere he wants
“I just can’t understand but this is what I’ve found” He ( so the guy with a lot of money in the first verse) has found that he was victim of the capitalism society
“Capitalistically you touch your gates of mind” Thoughtlessly you let the consumerism society hit you and you get influenced by it
