Report on trip in Wafangdian city

REPORT ON TRIP IN WAFANGDIAN CITY

The trip to Wafangdian city was from 27 to 28 October 2017 and the purpose of the trip was to have an insight on the economic and social environment (industry, agriculture, textile, art etc) of wafangdian

Three universities took part in this activity namely: Dongbei University of Finance and Economy, Medical University and Polytechnic University.

1st day of trip:

We arrived at 10:30 in the morning   and we were heartily welcomed by the Authorities in the city and we were given  a decent accommodation.

we visited 4 locations:

Wafangdian Bearing Group Corp: This company was founded in 1938. ZWZ Group is a comprehensive enterprise which is specialized in industrial bearing research, development, design, manufacturing, sales and services. The products are wildly used in various fields. The whole producing process involves many courses such as material science, precision finishing, measuring technique and so on.

Dalian Dongli Art-Textile Co., Ltd: It was established in 1992, has over 700 employees and the annual output value is over 100 million yuan. The main products include lace, hanging ear, ropes, width (narrow) belt and so on. They are widely used in curtain, cloth art sofa, bedding, lamps, clothing, and other fields. They are sold to more than 50 countries and regions such as Europe and America, with 60% of the products. It is the largest and most professional manufacturer in china even in the world.

 Liao Drama was originally called “Liao Nan Shadow drama”. In 1997, the troupe of Liao drama was formally established in the city of WaFangDian. In 2001, its name was officially changed to “Liao drama” by the cultural department of LiaoNing province.

The troupe of Liao drama in WaFangDian has produced and staged the big shows of Liao drama “ull Moon” “Full Moon at Leaving Moment” “Kindheartedness” “Red Cherty” and the small shows of Lioa drama “Gifts of Lady Xie” “Ancestral List” “Catching Chickens” “Red Strawberry”, etc.

FuZhou drum music: It is the ensemble of Chinese wind and percussion instruments, which played in the southern part of LiaoNing. The main instruments are composed of SuoNan, Sheng, ShuanGuan, gongs and drums. This form of art is mainly used in folk such as birthday party, celebration, wedding and funeral.
