Introduction :

We'll talk to you about different festivals:

Halloween , Guy Fawkes and Thanskvings.

We are going to show you the differences if you want to go to England or to the United States with the train or with the plane and we will explain  the different ways of celebrating these festivals .

England:

if you want to go to England we propose differents rates for the train:

-180 pound sterling for a return trip for one person

one hundred eighty

-120 pound sterling for a return trip for a family

one hundred twenty

I) The first festival that we will present to you is Halloween in England

Origin of halloween

Halloween is celebrated every 31 october.

In the old days, the children did not celebrate halloween the same

way as us.  During the one thousad hundred eight (1800 ) year families used to get together around a fire and played Apple Bobbing.

But Today the children rings at door and say “ the candy or a curse “ to get candies.

II)The second festival is Guy Fawkes

The story of Guy Fawkes :

Guy fawkes night is celebrated every 5 november in England.

We will talk about the tradictions and origins of Guy Fawkes.

He was born The 13 April 1570 ( one thousand five hundred seventy ) in Stonegate ( England)and was died the 31 Januar 1606 ( one thousand six hundred six ) in Westminster .

His father died now when he was only eight and her mother marry a catholic men.

The tradition wants children to walk their guy Fawkes doll in the streets and ask passers-by "a penny for the Guy". This money is supposed to be a contribution to the fireworks.

United-Stated:

If you want to go to the United States you have to take the plane.

The rate is :

III) The last festival I will talk to you about isThanksgiving !

Since 1621( one thousand six hundred twenty-one ) in the United Stated Thanksgiving is celebrated the fourth Thursday of november every year .

On Thanksgiving people eat corn, green beans ,squash,spinach, camberries , green salad,pecan , ham and turkey .
