Sharing is the most fundamental to the overall development of all inter human relationships. Act of sharing begins as soon as we are able to communicate with others. It often begins with our own parents when they teach us importance of sharing a toy with a friend. Initially we feel very insecure and possessive about sharing our own toy. Many questions come to our mind like “Why should I give up this toy, which I am playing with?”, ”what if someone break the toy?” etc. But even in that age it takes no time to realize that when we share our toy, others share their toys too and we are collectively in a win-win situation as we have large pool of toys to play with. Also the pleasure that we see on someone else’s face after sharing is priceless. Sharing not only bring synergy of joy, but also teaches us the value of taking care. In out Indian culture, it is very common to share home with elders. Many people live in a joint family. Act of sharing doesn’t necessarily have to be a very grand gesture that must always be appreciated. It can be as simple as sharing a compliment with others making them aware about their good qualities. “You look very smart today,” is one of such examples. We do not need lot of efforts to day those words. Those words can definitely make someone feel special. It will also make them feel happy about themselves and who made the, happy. It is also said that, sharing your own happiness is a wonderful thing because the story of achieving happiness can inspire a change in others. This can be a starting point for the betterment of society and improvement of human relationships.

According to an article published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, sharing a good news about us with others provides fills us with positive emotions. The research also suggests benefits of sharing such experiences. Sharing makes it easy to remember. It helps learn new ideas. It helps us understand other’s perspective about a topic. It gives us more joy and creates a leverage for future. Finally it spreads happiness and reduce hostility.

In the 21st century, collaboration between individuals or between individuals and corporations is increasing for mutual benefit. Many people are now trying to abandon the idea of individualistic overconsumption to promote cooperation and harmony. The cooperation is based on the premise of the shared contract of benefiting both parties. Sometime it is the need and some other time it becomes necessity. This new trend of collaborative business landscape can be seen in various market sectors of the modern business world. Concept of sharing the economy in the business world makes it possible to share underutilized and rare resources at correct market price. It also creates and broadens an environment of trust and reliability for exchanges between individuals and companies. It not just affects organizations as entity but also affects entire business value chain, starting from resources to final product for customers, in a positive way. It creates an equilibrium in processes and balance in the demand and supply of goods. It also helps to brings proximity and solidarity. This has been fueled by the innovations related to the digital platforms that guides the exchange between individuals. Many internet based apps and systems can help in building a sharing economy for the world.

Today, in order to build a successful business, a lot of people create cross domain business networks. Such networks consist of management, consultants, academicians and think tanks. Such networks are amazing places to make business because they open up many opportunities for their members. The opportunities could be in terms of new job roles, new contract, new product and service, outsourcing activities, consultation and many more. In return thousands of billions of dollars are generated by the members of such exchange networks. The most common example of such networks are trade networks, industry networks and banking syndicates. “Who gives, receives”. This is the vision of the many companies heavily dependent on collaborations. And undoubtedly sharing business opportunities can increase the benefits. It’s easy to create a long term sustainable business in the light of friendliness and trust. Whether it is to find a new job opportunity, investors for startup or a new market opportunity, it is more efficient to consult with professional business network. There is a small difficulty to maintain such business network. The most difficult part is to bring together the members of the professional network. In the digital world we can create multiple online business teams and add people to this trust network. This will definitely help to get business opportunities and make monitory benefit.
