osa Parks- A True Hero

A hero is a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Despite what some may argue, Rosa Parks is a perfect example of a Civil rights hero. This can be seen not only through the famous Montgomery bus ride, but also through other examples where she showed courage, made achievements, or proved herself to have noble qualities. These include: sparking the Montgomery bus boycott, working with Martin Luther King, featuring on International news, writing her autobiography and gaining honors and Awards.

One day, Rosa Parks had so much courage and strength that when her bus arrived to pick her up, she got on the bus, put her money in the slot, and sat in the front of the bus. Black people were supposed to sit in the back. The bus driver told her to move to the back, but she just sat there and refused to move. The driver called the police and they arrested Rosa Parks.

On Dec. 5, 1955, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Jr. and JoAnn Robinson looked out of their windows, stood on street corners around the city and watched the yellow buses pass by. There were hardly any black riders since Rosa Park's arrest. It was a miracle. People stopped riding the buses all because of Rosa Parks.

Soon, the police were informed of the people standing on the street corners watching the buses drive by. The police patrolled the streets to make sure that the black people were not bothering the other bus riders. The black people continued their boycott, and it was a success. Finally the rules for riding the buses were changed and black and white people could sit wherever they wanted to sit thanks to Rosa Parks.

A lot of people wrote hate mail to Rosa Parks. Some people called and threatened her and her family. She and her family were scared. They knew they were in serious danger, but Rosa Parks would not give up.

That's why for me, Rosa Parks is a national hero who stood up against racism and fought for freedom.

Usain Bolt

A rare few could handle all of this, and one of that few is Usain Bolt. Usain Bolt is an inspirational hero to runners around the world. Bolt’s outstanding races at the 2008 Olympics set two world records. He has become the fastest man on Earth right now.

He's the first man to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records, he also set the world record in the 4×100 metres relay.

By winning 3 gold medals at the 2013 World Championships, Bolt became one of the most successful athletes in the 30-year history of the athletics world championships.

Bolt had a series of back and knee injuries, threatening to destroy his career, but it wasn’t enough to stop him.

According to me, Usain Bolt can be considered as a hero because he has persevered through the tough times and he still comes out on top. Bolt also inspires runners everywhere to follow their dreams and be the best person they can be. This display of character earns Usain Bolt the title of “hero”. He also might have super human speed.
