What Primark is doing to improve the lives & wages of its garment workers

Agatha Raisin has decided to retire. She sold her PR agency and bought a small house in a Costwolds village. But it is not always easy to integrate into rural life. Especially when you arrive from the city in a small village where everyone has known each other for years. Also, in order to integrate quickly, Agatha decided to participate in a quiche contest, organized by the municipality. But Agatha's unlucky situation was not only not going to win, but it was also the cause of a tragedy: the death of the jury president. . . . What could have happened? Especially since his quiche was prepared according to the rules. . . by a London caterer. Mrs. Raisin is determined to find out the truth. Agatha Raisin could be Miss Marple's niece. But in a small village where everyone knows each other, it is not necessarily a good idea to ask questions, especially when they reveal dark secrets. But Agatha doesn't care. She wants to discover the truth at all costs and does not shy away from anything. And fortunately, ridicule does not kill, because it would have died from the first chapters.

Agatha is a businesswoman who decided to take early retirement. She bought a Cottage and moved te the Costwold.

But as a newcomer she was not accepted in the village.

She decided to impose herself and took part on a Quiche competition.

But her quiche has been poisoned with cowbane and killed the jury : Mr. Cummings-Browne.

Agatha had to confess that she bought her quiche at her old greek friend’s shop.

The police finally closed the case on an accident, but all the village accudes Agatha of murder. Specially Mrs Cummin Browne.

In the first place Agatha tried to prove her innocence in the village by taking part with some associations and trying to make friends. But she was rejected.

Agatha realized that it could possibly not be just an accident.

She would return to London if Bill, the policeman didn’t help her.

She also discovered that Mr Cummings Browne had an affair whith other women and his wife was jealous.

She also discovered that her greek friend bought the quiche frome someone himself which could not had use the cowbane.

Agatha knew for sure that MrS Cummings Browne killed her husband.

She just needed to prove it. She went to a library and searched for a poison guide. She found one who explained how to use cowbane and discovered that Mrs Cummings Brown read it.

So, she drove to the murder’s house to get her confess.

But when woman finally confessed herself, Agatha was turn to poison too. Fortunately, Bill will suceed in saving her.

Mrs Cumming Browne was arrested for murder.

As Agatha shed light on this whole story, the people in the village she had become closer during her investigations will finally accept her and she will stay in the village.
