Since the establishment of the school system, totally based on the “meritocracy”, for most people, to succeed his life takes place in only one possible way, that is to say by obtaining one or more degrees.

This mentality stems from a time when equality of opportunity was not approved, a time when only merit or level of social class defined its place in society.

However, we must know that the reality of yesterday is no longer that of today. The wave of the new generation, would even exceed this obsession with diplomas, in order to make them pass to the second role.

Some great personalities have also managed to override this system to prove their worth. Who would have thought that Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, would have abandoned his studies to embark on entrepreneurship ?

The question is whether the university is really the “ideal” goal to achieve for a successful life. Is it essential to acquire a diploma to claim a title ?

If we must emphasize a first point, it would undoubtedly be that “ the future does not read on our heads”.

Indeed, the culture of graduation continues to wander in the minds of men. This culture leads some to live below their capacity because they see themselves as the weak links in the chain. Their skills are underestimated because of their lack of education and in the same way of their lack of diploma. However we can notice that the education system creates gaps in the contemporary demands that surround us. We note that the students considered to be the “elite” are people who have been taught that everything is possible and that it is not necessary to follow a simple system, but we often forget to mention that this elite came from an environment that is adequate and conducive to their development in society.

In reality, there is only one real success: to be able to live your life in own way.

It is necessary that each of us can believe in his adaptation, either by being a “hard skills” or a “soft kills”.
