4) The "statues wars" is a war between people who disagree with that were given to the statues,and those who do not want to change their names under the pretext of tradition or cultural identity. People do not want to review their representations, their prejudices and are camped on traditions. (Started since 2017 when a debate erupted over the removal of Confederate statues in America, when a wider cultural and media awareness took place.)

-they were considered to lesser humans. Indeed, society evolves as well as minds. For the majority of people it is unacceptable and even intolerable to celebrate people or historical events that turn out to be disrespectful of the most basic human rights.

7)In my opinion Paul Daley is side with the Australians who want evolved because they want change the place names and the statues names finding it incomprehensible.

He shows his criticism on the name of monuments or statues given in Australia.
He is against those who do not want to change anything and see no harm has given names of statues to people who have humiliated other people and I want (like say in the title) "to reconsider who we celebrate" .
