The Halloween Tragedy

Every year in the town of Whitfield, a town in the depths of the United States. A huge event is organized for Halloween. In the United States, Halloween is sacred and everyone must participate. This event is the famous candy hunt or trick or treat. Every year more than 300 children from the city participate. They have 3 hours to collect as much candy as possible to win the prize.  But this year nothing is going to happen as usual. This year 2015 will be a tragedy. Every year the mayor forbids the children to go near the house of Mrs. Warren, an elderly person who is strange to say the least. It is said that everyone who comes near Mrs. Warren's house will die in excruciating pain.

It's October 31, 2015, Joffrey and his 5 other five friends are getting ready for the big candy hunt, they are all very excited. But being left alone in the night sends shivers down themspine. This year, Joffrey and his friends have decided to dress up as a killer clown. All 6 of them say that they are the scariest. It's 7pm, the boys get ready, each of them takes his bowl to put the candies. It is 7:10 pm and the boys leave together to the starting point of the candy hunt. At 7:30 p.m. all the children of the town of Whitfield are together in the middle of the central square where the mayor is about to make a speech. But the boys are still not there, indeed the car is broken down. So they decided to get out and continue on foot. Meanwhile, the mayor of Whitfield begins his speech in front of hundreds of children.

During this speech the mayor announces the rules... He says to scare the kids that Whitfield's trick-or-treating was the most dangerous in the United States. All the children shook like a leaf, the mayor added the obvious rule that it was strictly forbidden to go to Mrs. Whitfield's house because this house is haunted.  The mayor begins a 10 second countdown. When he uttered the verb "GO!" all the children ran off. It was night, with a freezing wind worthy of a horror movie, it was at the time of departure that the 6 boys arrived but the mayor had already given the speech. The boys couldn't wait any longer, they left a few seconds after the start without having received the instructions. The boys were determined to win this competition. They first go to 3 different houses where they collect a lot of candy.  The 6 boys on a path and see a strange house to say the least. The boys go there, but it was indeed the house of Mrs. Warren.   The boys didn't know it because they arrived late. The boys were about to knock on Mrs. Warren's door but it was too late and they were already caught in the trap. A trap door had been installed under Mrs. Warren's mat, they fell into a dark room, without light. The boys could hear footsteps. They had goosebumps. Mrs. Warren came into the room armed with a knife.  It was too late, they were going to die. Will they manage to escape from this haunted house?  [pic 1]
