Dear Family,

We just arrived in California and we are all good but tired. During the journey we took Route 66 to cross Oklahoma towards California. We went through Texas and Arizona and we saw beautiful landscapes, mountains, lots of farms and more. We were both impressed and worried because we didn’t know how our new life would be. During the journey we met people who gave us corns they were probably farmers and they showed us their farms and their families. Mom and dad are exhausted so today I may buy foods and drinks. When we crossed Arizona we stopped at the Grand Canyon and visited Oatman the ghost town and in Texas some farms too. In this city we start anew but I am both scared and preoccupied for mom and dad, they must find a new job to not be jobless and become homeless. I wish you could join us after the Dust Storm, you've lost everything. Today I'll visit the city with my sister to find our new school and the market. I hope that you are safe in Oklahoma.
