Subject: Development of teleworking

The company decided to set up teleworking. Telework is part of a process of improving the organization of work and relies on digital technologies. This is a work done outside the employer's premises on a regular and voluntary basis. Telework presents real advantages for a company and for employee.

By accepting teleworking, the business manager demonstrates a high level of confidence in the teams, which generates a higher investment and better performance. Workers in telework are happier and more fulfilled. And happier employees are more productive employees. The productivity gain is due to the improvement of the working conditions of the employee. The setting up of telework guarantees a reduction of the turn-over and absenteeism.

One of the main advantages of teleworking for the employee is that it is not subject to too many constraints. He will not have to go on long trips or be in traffic jams to get to his office since he usually works from home. A teleworker gains independence he organizes his day of work as he pleases. The stress associated with the relations with some colleagues, the meetings, the fast lunch breaks disappears with the teleworking. Another advantage is a better reconciliation between work and family life as they can therefore take care of their families at times when they need them and resume their activity thereafter.
