In this picture, there are two burgers : the burger in advertising and the burger in the reality.
This picture denounce the difference about burgers from fast food chains beetween the advertising and the reality. Everyone has already made the remark “Why burgers looking much bigger in the pictures?”
In advertising, there are beautiful and big burgers : we can see the tomatoes, the meat, the lettuce, the onions and the cheese. They looks very appetizing. But, when we buy a burger, at McDonal’ds for exemple, he looks more smaller and less beautiful than the burger in advertising. Moreover, in the reality, we don”t see immediately what’s inside, we have to open the sandwich. On tv, we can see all the ingredients of the burger.
i chose to be interested in this problem and i found an explanation.
This is explained by the fact that persons are paid by fast food chains to make the best and beautiful sandwich.
That’s how they do, take the example of Macdonalds. Near the studio photography where they take photos of burgers for advertising, there is a kitchen. In this kitchen, a cook prepares a bigger steak to replace the original steak, made in the fast food chain. Once the burger is done, the photographer put correctly the ingredients. The photograph must be perfect and we have to see all the ingredients. He does some modifications. A graphic designer chooses a photograph and he retouches the picture. He removes the imperfections to have the most beautiful burger.
I think that it’s false advertising, they lie and they attract us with beautiful burgers for make money but the real problem is that we accept it.
