Temple Bar is an area of Dublin's historic center. This district owes its name to William Temple, rector of Trinity College. Temple Bar is a colorful district of Dublin city that, almost accidentally could be said, over the years developed a bohemian character while maintaining in its cobbled streets And the ancient buildings a charm that is no longer found in many other parts of the city.
It is at the center of the cultural universe of Dublin. Musicians and street performers, open-air markets and exhibitions create a carnival atmosphere. You can attend a show, visit a gallery, explore a market, go to a concert, etc ..... all squared by a network of narrow streets and winding alleys.
