The article I decided to present is an article from The New York Times, which is a famous american newspaper around the world. It cames from New York and it treats about different subjects, as politics, travel, books, food and science. the New York Times is considered as a newspaper democrats and moderate republican which was founded in 1851(eighteen fifty one).

The article I decided to present is untitled « Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving Shine in Preseason Homecoming ». It was published the 13th December of 2020 by the journalist Sopan Deb. It describes the return of a duo really expected in the basketball world : Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in the basketball club of the Nets. With both players returning from injuries, Durant and Irving combined for 33 points in their first game together, more than a year after joining the Nets. It’s rare that an N.B.A. preseason game is must-see television. The Nets won, 119(one hundred nineteen)-114(one hundred fourteen), at Barclays Center last saturday against the Wizards of Washington but what mattered was the product on the floor: they looked every bit the All-Stars they have been their entire careers. If they were incredible at a preseason match, all the basketball world are asking themselves, what will they do during the season of 2020-2021 ? The article describes their unexpected prestations and all the actions of the match we shouldn’t pass by. It cites also the sentences the players said after the match as “They’re phenomenal scorers, obviously,” Spence Dinwiddie said ( a players from the Nets) “So I think the flow and the vibe that they’re going to have is going to be one of the best duos in the league, if not the best duo in the league.”

I have chosen to present this article because I really appreciate the NBA world since I was very young. Kyrie Irving is my preferate basketball player of this generation and I follow him since he started his career at the Cavalers of Cleveland with the famous Lebron James. And I think it’s important too to continue to practice sports and to maintain the culture even if the virus stops a big part of all the entertainments we have. A lot of sports grounds and of teams can’t continue to exist because of the crisis due by the corona virus, so I think we have to support them through any medium, such as making press articles, showing as many matches as possible on television, or other…
