I’m going to talk about the notion « idea of progress »

Firsly I want to give a definition to the progress and particularly scientific technological progress.

The progress is a transformation, an evolution in a special subject to a better situation

And the technological progress is the acquisition of knowledge and all the research projects.

Problematique : to what extent can we say that the Internet, this exchange tool, can be dangerous ?

Plan : First time : the internet a tool of power

Second time : the dangers of the internet

THE INTERNET A TOOL OF POWER

The internet is one of the big new of the modern world, through it the world has evolved considerably.

-very fast to contact someone everywhere in the world

-the base of world trade and mondialisation

-easy to use it and share information

-use in many field : education, business, private life

Althought all this adavantages, the Internet isn’t perfect, he has also many disadvantages and he coulds be dangerous

THE DANGERS OF THE INTERNET

The net has many dark face

-additction/isolation : Hikkomori

-can’t erase (effacer) anythings : social Network

-everybody can share : all the info isn’t right

CONCLUSION

The Internet is a tool very controverted, it can be very dangerous but it’s an element essential in the actual society. It’s directly connected at the power of the information. We can anserw, what is the most powerfull power, the power of the info or the power of money ?
