Journey to Los Angeles

Los Angeles

Hello everybody,

I’ll tell you my last holiday in summer two thousand and ten.

Los Angeles, often known by its initials L.A., is the second most populous city in the United States, after New-York City. As you can see on the picture, it’s located in Southern California, of course, California is in the west coast of United States and there are about 3,8 million people that live in this city. But you should also know that L.A. is also known to be a leading world center of business thanks to the international trade, media, sports, culture and many others. It’s the third richest city and fifth most powerful and influential city in the world.

When I arrived in this city, it was a dream. The sun was shining and it was very hot. Everything is beautiful and big! It’s an amazing city. There are so many things to see in this place, for example.

Houses in LA are like desperate housewife in the series.. do you know maybe? But it happens a lot of tornades..this is the shart…

(parlé des montagnes de santa où on peut voir le truc d’hollywood) Hollywood attracts millions of visitors each year who travel there to pay homage to their favorite stars. See beaches, movie star homes, downtown and all of the attractions through the eyes of an exper.

Now, I would like to speak about the climate of this city. Los Angeles has this chance to get a Mediterranean climate in their area. The sun shines on average 320 days a year. It’s definitely not like here! That’s why the City of Angels is a very tourist place.

In Europe we speak a lot about the food and the obesity problem in USA. Why?

There are a lot of "fast-food" factory everywhere here. It's true but we can also eat healthy foods here if we want. The price can be a real component to choose the "fat food" because it's really cheaper. So it's not a surprise that most of the people became fat more easily. But all the people that I’ve already met aren't so fat that we've expected.

The place where you can eat some delicious flavor of ice-cream. But after that, we have to take care of our body and don’t weight.

In conclusion, I chose this city because it interests me a lot and it is beautiful!

If you go to america, its definitely worth visiting los angeles.
