IDEE DE PROGRES.

The progress allows the evolution of the society and the modernization in various sectors. I am going to speak about the progress in the technological domain.

The robot which dreamed is a short story of Isaac... It's the story of a robot. Linda Rash is one of characters of the short story and is roboticist. She decided to create a robot and has makes a success. This robot is called Elvex and is endowed with a subconscious. One night he begins dreaming, a not normal thing for robots. The next day he speaks about it to Linda and she decides to call doctor Calvin and realizes that the situation is grave. 

Indeed, a robot with a subconscious is capable of becoming autonomous. Elvex tells her dream and says that he saw other robots and all the robots were slaves of the men. He remembered himself no more than three laws of robotics but just held " Any robot has to protect its existence ", even if it is necessary to break to the men and to hurt to them. At the moment in his dream a man appears and this said man " Let leave my people ". Doctor Calvin asked Elvex who was this man and Elvex answered her that he was this man. She realizes that there is a danger she decides to destroy him.

Today robots are create in the world and have various advantages. There are robots create to help the human beings. A robot which can help an old person or a person in trouble for example. However there are also inconveniences with robots and machines. Indeed, it can reduce the number of jobs because robots replace the human beings.

The 3D printer allows to create diverse objects as toys by examples. It allows to create objects more quickly. This printer also allows to create parts of the body, hand, arm, organs. Indeed, we just have to draw the organ which we want on a software, to choose the dimensions and then to print. The 3D printer also allows to repair the broken objects. It is an industrial progress.

We can thus see that these documents illustrate well the notion Idea of progress, show the advantages of the technological progress and also the inconveniences.
