Hotel window est un tableau peint en 1955 par Edward Hopper, le peintre est né le 22 juillet 1882 à New York et est mort le 15 mai 1967 à New York, il était un peintre et un graveur américain. Son tableau représente une femme assise sur un canapé qui regarde l'extérieur, la pièce est clair mais derrière la fenetre on y voit très peu, c'est la nuit on peut y voir un pilier une rue et un batiment, la pièce est très épurer la femme aussi la couleur du mur et du sol sont lumineuses comme tous les objets, des rideaux jaunes comme les murs et un canaper bleue comme le sol, vers l'extérieur du tableau on peut voir un tabouret marron une lampe dessus et un tableau placer juste au dessus, la femme elle est vêtue d'un chapeau et d'une robe rouge, ses souliers sont en noir et sa cape est blanche et bleue, elle semble âgée et a des cheveux blanc. On en vient à une conclusion d'un tableau contemporain dans un style mélancolique.
