The material that comes out of the 3D printer machine is a molleten wire that gives a liquid. the liquid melts from the thermal resistane which is located just above the nozzle. Above the thermal resistance there is a cooling system that prevents the wire to melt before getting to the nozzle

so general problem is to Create a system to change the printer nozzle automatically to improve accuracy and speed.  My part is to handle 3D printer rotation drive

For sustainability which is integrating environmental protection from the design of goods or services. I aim to reduce the impacts of my product throughout its life cycle:so as u can see on the image my product is environmentaly sustainable:the materials used are recycable have long life cycle and are not polluting. Society wise the product will be accessible and will satisfy everryones needs, alors it will wake up the creativity of the users

economic wise the price will be flexible and affordable for everyone. The barell contains 3 nozzle so u odnt need to have 2 more printers to adapte the speed or size to print.

first I chose the second solution which i presented last time, so I modeled on inventor the whole printer to change the nozzle.

The purple part is the motor, it is positioned and fixed on the plate and allows the barrel to rotate to change the nozzle.

The plate in yellow was created and hung on the red plate already presented on the nozzle of the 3D printer.on the yellow plate a bore was made in order to be able to position the cooling system in light blue. The dark blue barrel is located under the yellow plate and when the engine turns it places the nozzles below the cooling system in light blue.

I can not do more simulation at home because my computer is too old and does not hold inventor but for the rotation drive I have to manage the barrel speed, barrel turns ones in one direction and  2nd turn in reverse to avoid mixing cables,so I have to calculate and find a containing speed to prevent the nozzle from crushing the plate during printing . Also I thought of locking in the position to secure the nozzle and the wire will face nozzle. The extruder has a stepping motor and a toothed wheel to advance or retract the filament, this allows to precisely manage the amount of material to be used so the wire will be positioned in front of the nozzle when changing, the motor will cut the deposition of the wire so we can move to the next nozzle without discomfort of molten wire. So these are some of the  ideas that I have in relation to simulations and my task.

First of all we have the motor, the motors perform short and fast rotations which allows a quick and precise movement of the head so I chose a MOTOR NEMA 2.5A motor which is worth 17 €; works perfectly well, precise, does not heat up , stable performance to meet your needs. A less expensive and more efficient product.

Then the heads (nozzles): I took the brass nozzles which are the most common in 3D printing they allow the printing of the most widespread and common materials such as PLA which will be the wire used because recyclable . The printer will use 3 different nozzles (small diameter 0.35mm approximately € 9, average diameter approximately € 12 0.6mm and finally the large diameter 0.8mm approximately € 13.
