Educating Rita 's essay

I went to the theater to see « Macbeth », a play by Shakespeare. If I went to one of those big professional theaters where the working class people do not gor it was to improve my general culture and satisfy my curiosity.

It was after seeing the play that I thought « I’m gonna do an essai on it ».

First, I will summarize the Shakespeare tragedy « Macbeth », then I will relate my feelings about this performance and, finally, I will explain the impact of this play in my life.

« Macbeth » is a tragedy by William Shakespeare written between 1599 and 1606. This play takes place in Scotland and tells the story of Macbeth, a Scottish general, who will receive the prophecy of three witches announcing that he will become King of Scotland. On hearing this news, his wife, Lady Macbeth, decides to help him to become cruel and pitiless, because she thinks that, despite his ambition, her husband is too kind to achieve this goal by himself.

However, this quest for power by violence leads them to their madness and death.

At first, when I took my ticket, I thought this room would be really boring to die. Yet, contrary to my expectations, I was quickly captivated by the story and acting ! I was so excited and enthusiastic about the play that I was on the edge of my seat, I wanted to intervene to save the characters. The play was breathtaking, it was fantastic !

All the actors were playing really well: I could not stand Lady Macbeth as this character was cruel and bad ... I wanted Macbeth to be wary of her. Fortunately, her cruelty has led to her loss, it's a good morality.

I feel that this piece has had a strong impact on my life and my vision of the world. I know I will going back to the theater: I like verse that takes simple words to turn them into a sublime phrase: "It's a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing. "

I do not want to pretend to be satisfied with my current situation, lost in a class that should not exist: everyone should have access to education to meet the hunger for knowledge .... I aspire to another ambition now : break these social barriers thanks to the education !

« Macbeth ». This play has affirmed my confidence in me, I know what my true ambition is: to study, to do my best to change my life and show the world what education has brought me. I would climb alone their social barrier. Ignorance should not have its place among the so-called "lower" classes.
