Meeting with the others:

I would first begin by defining what an odd couple is. That notion refers to a relationship (romantic or not) or a love affair involving two persons who are completely different from each other and who will never get along under other circumstances.

 Their mood, character or temper are opposite.

We can ask us how in this document  the romantic and friendly relations reflect an odd couple?

1. Skeeter and aibileen in “the help”
2. Dr jekyll and Mr hyde in “strange case of Dr jekyll and Mr hyde”

     3)  Rose and jack in Titanic (doc perso)

1. So first i’m going to deal with the movie “the help” produce by tate taylor in 2011.

Skeeter is come back into the little city of Jackson in the Mississippi, at the beginning of the sixties, after the university.

Her friends are all engaged but skeeter do not wants anything than being writer. She takes the responsibility of the household chronicle of the local newspaper.To familiarise with this subject, she receives the permission of his friend elizabeth to asks her black domestic, Aibileen.

How could we say that aibileen and skeeter are an odd couple?

Cause first : 1)

This relation surprising a lot of people cause  its not common at this period of the history to see a black and a white women becoming friends. But with the picture of the movie we can see that they have a real link, like a strong friendship, cause they are holding hands and they look at each other in the eyes with smile, that show a big complicity.                                     2) They not coming from the same social class. Indeed we can see in the movie that skeeter goes to the bridge club and at the same time aibileen is in the kitchen to clean up something.                                                                3)We can also say that skeeter is a little bit naive about the job of household and aibileen is very mature and very opened minded.         4)They are very opposite but they relationship works because skeeter does no act like the other white woman , indeed she is interesting by the life of those black women and Aibileen help skeeter to write is chronicle. So they help each other.  So cause they are different but they need each other we can say that aibileen and skeeter are an odd couple.

2)  So now i’m going to talk about the couple of Dr jekyll and mr hyde in the book strange case of Dr jekyll and mr hyde of  Robert Louis Stevenson.

Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson is a narrative about the complexities of science and the duplicity of human nature. Dr Jekyll is a kind, well-respected and intelligent scientist who meddles with the darker side of science, as he wants to bring out his 'second' nature. This novel is an gothic novel.

So we could say first that this novel show and odd couple and a real relationship between Dr jekyll and mister hyde.                                                   1 )Cause first Mr hyde is described like smaller and young and jekyll like deformity and decay. Dr jekyll think that in all the people there is two people like a double side personality as the freudian theory.                        Mr hyde is the evil part of dr jekyll. They inhabit the same personality and there is like 2 entities within the same person .
