• Reasons for implementation

We all know that schools are well aware of the necessity of an alumni association. It helps a lot for the management of the schools, the modules and the future students. An ALUMNI is an association that gather all students that went to the business school to maintain contact and create a network.

 It is important because it create relation and creates a contact between the actual student and those that are working. If the network is good, we should know who is working were and if he can give a job he has to take one of the association. Like that we can reduce the number of ex-students that aren’t working.

Naturally the school already has it but not as a business intelligence tools. They has it as a book where the information of all those who have been in the school is. Their address, where they live, where they work, which department, their hierarchical position etc.…

Our Business tools intelligence will gather all those information and they won’t need a book anymore to give to the students, everything will be online. It is easier to follow up every student and diploma, faster for updating information.

• Explain the stages

  To implement this new BI system will have to first gather the data of our all student even who had studied in EM Normandie. This step will consist into gathering information about all student: where are they are working in which department they are working, in which sector of activity they are working etc.…

Secondly will have to select the data this means target the data which are need for example if we want to know which are the student that had left the school last year and in which company they are working.

Third the data mining (description) this step will permit to transform our data into knowledge for this will have to do a query (n) to the process for example filter all the diploma who are working in a department (finance, HR, Marketing) this will allow to school to improve the relations between the alumni and the student
