In recent years the world of work has been constantly changing. This why we are going to ask ourselves how the accounting sector evolving. In the first part, we will talk about the positive points of these developments. Then in second part we will talk about the negative points of it. We are going to answer this question using a article adapted from The Conversation, published on April 30, 2018. We do not know who is writer, but the title is " The big four accounting firms struggle to shake their sexist pasts "
Firstly we realize after reading that for years it's been 4 big accounting companies Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PwC, had employees for years male employees. However thanks to its evolutions women have made their appearances in its companies. It also shows that mentalities are changing and that women are starting to create their places. (In the workplace)
However in this second part we can say that there are still negative points like the fact that women do not have the same levels of responsibility as men. The companies hide their history, past and culture it’qs a negative point.
To conclude apparently sexism has been reduced with the general development of work, however we still notice differences between men and women.
During an internship I was able to discuss this issue with a manager who said that it was more difficult for women to have work of responsibility according to her.
