Oral Anglais Stage Ireland

Hello, i’m Marceau Jacquemond, i’m eighteen years old. I’m french male.  I will talk about my work experience in Irlande.       To what extent has my intership abroad developed my professional and personnel skils ?

First, I am currently studying for a BTEC National in Buisness and marketing at Monts du Lyonnai High School. I choose this formation because i like the contact with the customers. The BTEC is very interessant that it’s in the class of prefessor where in intership.

Then, during my formation I did a lot of intership. So the first was in Decathlon Villars. I love this shop but I wanted to leave to practice and approve my English. My amazing experience have begin the 17th March until the 17th April. With my school, we had catch the plane from Lyon for to go in Dublin and then arrived we had catch the bus during 3 hours for Galway.

My internship was at Elverys, It’s sport shop same Decathlon in France.

During my intership, i have effected  many tasks.  As in France, I do facing the clothes in shelf. And I pump the Rugby ball.

 The part the most difficult is contact with the customers during the first week. At my second week, I do well the contact with poeple.

 I was principaly at level -1. It’s a shelf men and sports local. During my intership, I love to go to the contact with customers. The shop is composed to fourteen sellers

I bigan my work at eleven am and I finished my work at four pm.

For finish,  the

Positive aspects in shop was:

• The staff was very friendly with me
• The customers were more to aimiable than France.

Negative aspects in shop was:

• They were not a lot of customers.
• I always did the same thing as in France

The working methods are much slower than in France.

In France when I worked at Decathlon, an outfit was required (jeans, tee shirt). So at Intersport in Ireland, I worked in tracksuit. I think it’s better because when we see there sellers we think it’s athletic with this outfit.

The turnover for one month is 1500 € so 45 000 € in one year.

For conclude, this experience was really amazing. Outdor the internships, I have effected two shooting photos with me finalist of miss Ireland; The team was composed of makeup artist, hair cut, cameraman and photographer in wonderful hotel and in a luxury shop.

I did many travel for discover the country, connemera and Cliff of Moher. I think this experience was very necessary for approve my english.  I was very motivated, listened and was ponctual.  And personnaly my internships allowed me to gain confidence in me and enjoy to sell from irish customers. Also to check the Buisness is my vocation.  

 I think after to get my diplomatica of Buisness and Marketink i will do a BTS commerce.
