Diapo 1 : Hello, today we're going to tell you about the organisation Medecin sans frontieres.

Diapo 2 : This organisation was born in 1971 by some doctors and journalists who went to Biafra with the Red Cross to try to help the people there during the war.

Considering that the policy of neutrality and reserve the Red Cross had been a mistake, they wanted to create an association that would combine humanitarian assistance and advocacy with the media.

Because this organisation is independant, they financed by private donation.

Diapo 3 : For forty years, MSF provides medical assistance to people whose life or health is threatened: mainly in case of armed conflict, but also epidemics or natural disasters All these situations require adequate medical resources.

Médecins Sans Frontières relies on an international network that may, in emergencies, mobilizing qualified human resources and financial resources.

Diapo 4 : Tens of thousands of refugees who have fled violence and deprivation in South Sudan and sought refuge in camps inEthiopia’s Gambella region are faced with a lack of water, food, and sanitation and are suffering from a range of emergency medical conditions, including highly infectious measles.

So MSF's teams help and heal the population of this camp but this support is not effective because one thousand refugees arrive per day.
