The COP27 to the United Nations on the Climate Change, which is currently being held in Egypt at Charm el-Cheikh of November 6th to 18th 2022, is looking to renew the solidarity between the countries and affirm the historic engagement of the Paris agreement.
The COP (Conference of Parties) is the largest and the most important annual conference of the climate on the planet.
The COP27 will be based on the results of the COP26 for act on the existential questions to face the climate emergency.
The conference will also talk about the negotiations unresolved after the conference of Glasgow in 2021.
This negotiations includes the funding of the “loss and damage” in order to that countries in first line of the crisis can face to the consequences of climate change that goes behind they can adapt them.
The big objectives of the COP27 are the attenuation, the adaptation and how the publics funds can be use.
The attenuation of climate change refers to the efforts to reduce or prevent the emission of greenhouse gases.
The countries need to show how they plan to put into effect the call of the pact of Glasgow, to review their climate plans and to create a work program related to the attenuation.
This signify to present the objectives of emissions more ambitious for 2030, because the ONU Climate declared that the actuals plans are still not enough to avoid a catastrophic global warming.
The countries also needs to adapt at the climate consequences in order to protect their citizens.
A plan has been put in place to equip the community and the countries knowledge and necessary tools to guarantee that the actions of adaptation they undertake make progress the world to a future more resilient at the climate change.
The countries in development lance a big call to developed countries for assured a financial support sufficient and appropriate, in particular for the most vulnerable.
The annual promise of 100 billions dollars of developed countries which is not required.
In 2009 at Copenhagen, the rich countries engaged to provide the funding at the development countries, but the official reports show always that this objective is not achieved.
