You have to introduce a company and explain to us how its values and objectives are in line with the environment.
I'm going to introduce the company Lush and their strategy in term of Corporate social responsibility.
It is a cosmetics company founded in 1995. The first store was located in Great Britain and today the company has more than 830 stores in 51 countries.
The company claims to be environmentally and animal-friendly.
Indeed, you can find in their website that their offer and philosophy is based on a promise of fresh products, made by hand and using natural products such as fruit and flower infusions, for instance.
Furthermore, Each year they organise a Lush Prize ceremony ; which offers several awards worth €57,000 to projects proposing the most effective solutions for product safety tests without the use of animals.
This is the highest award in the field of animal-free testing.
They also explain on their websites that they are concerned about packaging; for this purpose they transform liquid products into solid products to avoid packaging.
And they also offer to their customers the possibility to have a fresh mask in exchange for 5 jars of products brought back to the store.
The Lush company purchases raw materials without intermediaries, which allows them to establish a productive, honest and lasting relationship with producers and suppliers and to guarantee good quality raw materials to manufacture their products
Finally, the company refuses to buy from suppliers who use child labour.
