INTRODUCTION
France (G20 member), is one of the world's biggest economic power, in which I am very proud to be a citizen of.
The dream of most students similar to me is to become a successful entrepreneur. This is why I chose this course because by partaking in it, I will be able to distinguish and present the many opportunities and the threats our country currently faces.
Indeed, entrepreneurial dynamism in France is real, as evidenced by the growing number of entrepreneurship over the last ten years: 210,000 companies created in 2000, 330,000 in 2008 and 550,000 in 2011 (under the effect of the introduction of auto-entrepreneur status).
The general public image of entrepreneurs is very positive: 65% of French citizens believe that the contractor profession is a good career choice; this is tied with the United States and 15% more than in Germany and the United Kingdom where the general consensus is 50%.
In France there is a lot of potential for successful entrepreneurship but it is usually unutilized. There is a real difference between independent will to do something and the actual action. Only 30% of French, such as 30% of Britons or Germans felt they could become independent in the next 5 years (against 35 % of Americans).
The gap between the desirability and feasibility is therefore not a French exception, but reflects of a dynamic that is necessary to accompany.
After presenting the profile of the entrepreneur in France, we will focus on the business environment of entrepreneurship in France, the different opportunities and threats that it presents. Finally, we will address the various measures put in place to encourage entrepreneurship.
We can see that the least evaluated are the factors sociocultural and transfer R & D, which does not play an important role , while other factors such as government policy (taxation), the financing of entrepreneurship influence a lot
