*We are sincerely sorry but the metro of the line b will not circulate because of an accident*
Jerry : Hey, excuse me, what is the problem with the underground ?
Tom : I don’t know, I think there was an accident
Jerry : Oh Tom ? Is that you ?
Tom : Jerry? It’s been such a long time bro’ !
Jerry : So what’s up ?
Tom : Well, I study accounting, and you ?
Jerry : I study Art and Graphism. But tell me : why accounting? You wanted to become filmmaker, aren’t you?
Tom : Filmmaker was a child dream among so many other. Today, I know what I want to do. My projects are clear in my head.
Jerry : Ah ! It is nice if you do what you like ! But I couldn’t be in accounting, I mean, it is so boring.
T : What ? Not at all. It is far from annoying. You learn a lot of things about fiscality, management, finance… Those are the fundamental basis!
J : Ah, did you have school support in mathematics? Because in the accounting field, you must have a bunch of numbers.
T : Ahahah, that is not true, you don’t have to be absolutely good in maths, it is often about logical, you know. We make basical calculations : addition, subtraction, division, multiplication.
J : Yes, but I think it is a lonely profession.
T : Absolutely not, the accounting profession in office become a work of contact people where we must advise customers, collaboraters…
J : Okay, I didn’t know this. But you are still stuck on your desk all day long.
T: That is wrong, most of the time, we are in appointements.
J: Yes but… you'll wear glasses because you're on a computer ahaha.
T: Have you ever seen an accountant without glasses? Yes ? Ok, it's just an old cliché, but as you know, the habit makes the monk. Put your binocles and work.
J: You make a lot of statements ?
T: An accountant makes statements. A lot. Without stopping in fact. So you have to know it and be prepared, unless a massive wave of simplification comes down on our country.
J: But accounting is not reliable at the beginning when you throw you have not many customers because it works only by word of mouth.
T: It's normal, to start any activity you need an address book. Whether for art, small shops, or a cabinet, you must leave time to time.
J: Shure! But accountants are people who are too involved, too serious, unsociable and who are mostly crooks.
T: Not at all ! We have rules and accounting principles to follow, otherwise we are sanctioned.
