- Identify audience
The film that we created with my friend is a story about a group of special forces who are sent on a mission to save the earth from a health crisis like Covid-19. The film will target families and teenagers on the one hand because there will be a lot of action, violent scenes and of course a little love story with the protagonist of the film.
- Identify partners sales and distributors
The commercial partners we will choose are a military intervention team that will allow us to make realistic intervention scenes. Moreover, for the distribution of the film we will be in collaboration with ALLOCINE who will allow us to broadcast the trailers on their website and on the social networks. Finally, we will call on the FNAC to distribute the film in "code" or "DVD" format.
- Make a promotion materiels (trailers and socials networks)
The aim of our promotion is to make the public wait as long as possible while giving them small information about the film like mini trailers on social networks and finally a big trailer of 2-3 minutes to announce the release date of the film. At first we will broadcast small trailers of 30s-1min in order to make our film known little by little to our target audience on social networks. Finally, we will broadcast the full trailer on YouTube and on social networks to announce the final release date.
- Identify territories
We thought of shooting our film in Europe, more precisely in Poland, which would mix landscapes with forests but also cityscapes, which would be perfect for our film because we had already thought of certain scenes such as leaks in forests or interventions in the city.
- Identify steps you are going make to raise interest about your film based on audience and territory
The strategy to attract the interest of the target audience is to broadcast trailers throughout the year in order to make ourselves known on social networks and finally to broadcast the complete trailer on YouTube to bring us a maximum audience for the release of the film. Concerning the distribution on the territory, we will initially concentrate on Europe, because exporting a film internationally is very expensive. This is our first film.
