Starcraft Two : Wings of Liberty is a real time strategy video game developped and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It was released in 2010 ( two thousand ten) and is the sequel to Starcraft and its expansion Starcraft Brood War , which were released in 1998 (nineteen ninety eight) .

The game is set in a science-fiction universe where three distinct alien races, the Terrans, Protoss and Zerg, battle for control of the galaxy. One of the main strengths of Starcraft Two is its depth of play: it offers a wide variety of possible strategies and tactics. It is in some ways an improvement on the first version and is a continuation of the story. Players can build bases, collect resources, form armies and send them out to fight opponents.
