INDIA
Day 1 – Board you flight in Montreal
This evening at 17h15 you will board an American Airlines flight (no 4477) that is going to the airport of Chicago. Then, you are going to board on American Airlines flight no 292 at 19:20 to Delhi.
Day 2 – Arrive in Delhi
You will arrive to Delhi at 20h30 today. A shuttle will wait at the airport to transfer you to your hotel. On arrival, you will be given a welcome cocktail and you could then meet your guide. Take the rest of the evening to rest. Overnight is in Delhi.

Day 3 – Delhi
After breakfast, we take you on a coach city tour. The tour will include a visit to the Gandhi National Museum as well as the National Museum of India where you could explore the numerous galleries. From there, we will take you to the Red Fort of Delhi where apart from the Fort, you also get to see a Light and Sound show. Tonight, we will enjoy a dinner at the Delhi’s famous Great Kebab factory where you could try one of the 150 different kinds of kebabs, prepared by chefs right in front of you, through a glass wall. Overnight is in Delhi.

Day 4 – Delhi
This morning, we will take you to Qutub Minar, the brick minaret built bu Qut-bud-din Aibak. We then drive you to Lotus Temple where you could meditate in the silence of this amazing temple. Our drive will continue to Humayun’s Tomb where you will for sure make great picture out of this magnificent construction. We then drive you to Akshardam temple, a splendid temple that has marvelous carvings, domes and sculptors. In the afternoon, we take you to Raj Ghat – the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where you could feel the spirit of this one of a kind man. After that, we will take you to the Old Delhi, where you could enjoy a rickshaw ride through the narrow and crowded lanes and market of Chadni Chowk. Overnight is in Delhi.

Day 5 – Delhi to Jaipur
At 8:00 this morning, a motorcoach will take you to the pink city of India, Jaipur. On arrival, we will check into our hotel and have lunch before we take you for a sightseeing of Jaipur. The visit will start with City Palace and its collections of fabrics, decorated weapons, paintings and carpets. Then we will drive to the Hanoman Temple where troops of langur monkeys are fed daily. In the evening, you will have some time for shopping in excellent areas of Sireh Deori and Johari Bazaar. Here you could shop for precious stones, jewels as well as handicrafts and leather goods. Overnight is in Jaipur.
Day 6 – Jaipur
Today we pursue our way in the Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur. Our first destination will include Amber Fort where you could enjoy an elephant ride to go up the hill. After visiting the fort, we will drive to the Hawa Mahal also called the palace of the winds, where you could watch its impressive architecture including its 953 windows that allowed the ladies of the court to watch the activities on the street without being observed themselves. Nearby, we will visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory where our trained guide will help you understand the position of stars and plants using this ancient astronomical instrument. Tonight we will have a taste of Rajasthani cuisine at Surya Mahal, a popular restaurant that serves traditional courses from the province as well as a large variety of Indian food. Day 7 – Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri and Agra
This morning, we will leave the city of Jaipur to drive to Fatehpur Sikri. There we will take you to the Jama Masjid, the great mosque, sacred center of Sikri. In the interior court, you will pass by Salim Christi’s tumb, whose benedictions are renowned for helping infertile woman. Then we will explore the glorious heritage of Mughals by walking through the Panch Mahal, the famous five store high palace. At the top, enjoy the panoramic view of this ancient imperial city. We then continue our drive towards Agra. On arrival, the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. After dinner, you will enjoy the Taj Mahal under the moonlight. Overnight is in Agra.

Day 8 – Agra to Varanasi
We will wake up early this morning to be sure not to miss the Taj Mahal in the golden rays of the sun on daybreak. We will enjoy the magnificent view from all angles and then shop for some souvenirs from Oswal Emporium. We will now drive to Agra Fort, symbol of the Maharajas. There you could visit various palaces and mosque that are in the fort. Tonight, we will board a train to Varanasi from Tundla Railway Station. Overnight is in the train.

Day 9 – Varanasi and Kolkata
We will arrive to Varanasi in the morning. After breakfast, you will have the chance to experiment a cruise on the Hindus sacred river of India, the Ganges. You will have the opportunity to watch the different ghats along the way as well as observe the pilgrims praying and bathing down the bank of river Ganga. After the cruise, we will do a visit to the Bharat Kala Bhavan, where you will see some exquisite miniature paintings, whose religious message is heightened by the use of a rigid and highly symbolic iconography and intense colors. At the end of the afternoon, we will take you to the silk market in Thatheri Bazar to see the impressive job made by the Varanasi’s weavers. Tonight we will enjoy a nice dinner at Taj Ganges hotel restaurant, the Varuna. Then we will board on an overnight train to Kolkata.
