Dear New York Times' editor,
My names is Madeleine Diemer and I would like to participate in your contest to select "the mosht amazing
hero". So I will show you who, for me, is a superhero.
Her costume is not flashy, there is not more banal. It is confines to a tee-shirt, jeans ans boots or sneakers. A sweater may be added, when the Winter shade all his forces on us. My superhero also wears glasses, because many years of love, anger and joy in her look, messed up her eyes!
My superhero hasn't got any superpowers, but she is able to do many things at once, oftendo sacrifice for people around her, undergo the worst suffering for the life goes on. She knows all the answers in case of emergency. I am fortunate to know her, have her everyday with me, have her support, advice and above all her love. I admire her strength and courage. You do not recognize my hero?
It's normal, she is personal put universal. Yes, it's my mom. And I think that if you ask, many people around the world will respond like me. I think that you could write an article in praise of moms! Althought this is not the description of a hero that you expected: it's not a voluunter, cartoon or movie star... She has never done something recognized all around theworld, saved the lives of millions people or even received a Nobel Price of peace. But she always lit up my life and brought
me to the right ways. She is a role model for me, like a superhero can be, right?
Thank you very much for reading my participation and I hope
that my idea will be greatly accepted!
