WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE IN L.A. ?

Nicknamed the "city of angels", the city of Los Angeles is located in Southern California. Known for movies and its legendary beaches, L.A. is a part of the American dream. Indeed, despite the misery in one part of this city, many people see it as a symbol of the conquest of the West. This is also the finish of the famous Road 66, which, from Chicago, crosses united state of America from East to West.

If you visit Los Angeles, you must see Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, Melrose Place, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica or Venice Beach. These mythical places have at least the merit to make you dream of celebrity!

When you arrive in L.A., start by walking and going up on the hill to admire where are the letters "HOLLYWOOD" and once here, you can see all the city.

Then go on the "Walk of Fame" on Hollywood Boulevard and find the star of your favorite star! When you are there, do not miss the Grauman's Chinese Theatre where all first nights of Hollywood blockbusters take place.

On Hollywood Boulevard, you can stop your walk in the famous Hard Rock Café. You can also take the metro in order to go in different places in L.A. .

When you finished to discover the district of Hollywood, go on Melrose Avenue, stop in front of the famous sign "Beverly Hills" for the legendary picture!

Venice Beach and Santa Monica make you dream! Venice Beach is a known for art, but it's also the world capital of roller and skate. On these beaches, you can see athletes! Probably you will be accosted by some people wearing green saying to you “come on, we have a doctor for your pains”…

On Rodeo drive, you can make some shopping like in famous American movies. You can also go on the 3rd street promenade to do shopping. But it’s a little bit expensive; most of tourists go there to buy souvenirs.

On Sunset Boulevard, as its name, you can see the beautiful sunset on the Pacific Ocean.

In L.A., you can also visit Universal Studios Hollywood, where the set of "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "Desperate Housewives" are present for example.

And if you like arts, you can visit one of many exhibits in the city.

Moreover, in L.A., the national sport is to get a perfect tan. If you want to play this game, you can do some tanning with a lamp or with a shower.

It’s funny. But pay attention not to stay a long time on the same face … you could have a surprise! And if you want to be a real American, you have to eat some donuts and ice cream (you can test it to find the best perfume and choose your ice cream with candies or chocolate on).
