Twenty  Øne piløts

Hi everybody, I already did a presentation about Taylor Swift last year, so today I’m gonna talk about my favorite music band : Twenty øne piløts.

This group of scizophrenic (scissophrenic) pop was formed in 2009 by Tyler Joseph, Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, three college friends from Columbus, Ohio but in 2011 Chris and Nick had to leave the group because of their schedules (schedjule). Thus in 2011 Joshua Dun joined the band. The band is composed of Tyler Joseph, he’s the leader and singer. He can play bass, ukulele and piano, and Josh who can play trumpet and drums. Furthermore Josh is an incredible drummer, I’m gonna show you. (video)

In 2009 the twenty øne piløts () release their first album called “twenty øne piløts”

In 2011 they produced a new album “regional at best”

In 2013 they achieve “vessel” the third album of the band

And in 2015 they did their last album “Blurryface” that you all know for the songs ride, stressed out, heathens and so on…

The skeleton clique: the skeleton clique is a fandom (or fanbase). The fans have got a lot of expression, symbols, projects…

Stay alive: two words repeated several times in the song Truce (vessel) for the mutual assistance in the clique. At the end of every concert Tyler say “stay alive, it’s worth it”

Logo: The Skeleton Clique logos appear as two long lines with several short lines overlapping it, and an alien-like head on the top for the left one, and a skull-like head for the right one.

The few : even if the clique is bigger and bigger tyler will always see the clique as a little fanbase. “ welded”

The proud : when you’re in a concert hall and you look around you and see all the clique, you’re proud of one thing, be alive.

The emotional: it’s a reference to the fans. The music takes any emotion, protect it and feed it

And for the anecdote Tyler came up with the band's name while studying All My Sons by Arthur Miller, a play about a man who must decide what is best for his family after knowingly sending out faulty airplane parts for the good of his business and causing the death of twenty-one pilots during World War II.

Tyler said that the story's moral dilemma of choosing between the easy and the right decision inspired the name and formation of the band
