For this presentation, I have chosen a British movie which the name is Johnny English.

Has anybody here ever seen this movie?

So let's begin with a quick introduction. So Johnny English is a spy comedy parodying the secret agent of James Bond and was realised in 2003 in Britain and topped the country's box office for a little bit less than a month.

What about the plot?

First of all, Johnny English is interpreted by Rowan Atkinson, you know him from Mister bean, and in this movie he is an agent for the MI7, so the British Military Intelligence Section 7.

His dreams are to be their most trusted employee.

After one of the best agents dies in submarine accident, the remaining agents are assassinated by a bombing at the best agent's funeral. Therefore, Johnny becomes the last surviving agent, and is in charged of protecting against robbery of the Crown Jewels, which are located at the Tower of London.

The MI7 sends Johnny English on a mission: To keep a close eye on the Crown Jewels and he is attended by his partner, named Bough, but somebody achieves to evade the security systems.

Johnny suspects Pascal Sauvage, a French man who is a descendant of the Royal Family, and decides to investigate.

But the CEO of the MI7, named Pegasus finds these claims absurd and warns English not to involve Sauvage.

But Johnny English remains suspicious, thus English and Bough decide to break into Sauvage's headquarters via parachutes.

And this moment of the movie is one of the funniest because English lands on the other twin tower which is the Hospital, and not the headquarter.

There, he makes a terrible mistake by taking hospital employees in hostage...

He realised his mistake when he sees, by the window, "SAUVAGE" written on the opposite building.

To resolve this mistake, he told the Hospital employees that this was just a test in case of a hold-up.

Shortly afterwards, by going to the right building, Johnny English discovered that Pascal Sauvage was putting pressure on the Queen Elizabeth II in order to abdicate by threatening her Corgis because his plan is to become king.

By the way, Corgis are famous for being the preferred dog for more than seventy years.

At the end, Johnny English achieved to arrest Pascal Sauvage and restores the Queen to the throne. Thanks to that, as a reward, the Queen designed Johnny English as a knighthood.

The link between this movie and the UK is narrow, but I wanted to point out a current topic in which the queen is involved.

A few days ago, The Guardian, a famous daily newspaper published an article about the procedure to follow when the Queen Elizabeth II will die.

So, what will happen? A code will allow one day to alert the world to the Queen's death, this sentence is "The London bridge is Down" and there will be a lot of events to follow...
