Me Too is a hashtag used to show the presence of sexual assault and harassment. That phrase is used by people who were victims of any kind of assault or harassment and to show that they aren’t alone. Numerous women have spoken out on Twitter since October about sexual misconduct by dozens of men in the entertainment industry. Alyssa Milano encouraged using the phrase to help reveal the large amount of problems with sexual harassment and assault by showing how many people have experienced these events themselves. Time's Up is a movement with a goal to help women fight against sexual violence and harassment in the workplace. This movement tries to influence people and organize donations for victims to get legal help if they can’t afford it because assault is a serious issue that should be handled legally. Time's Up succeeded and accumulated more than 10 million dollars in donations for it’s legal defense fund. Most of the celebrities at the Golden Globes of 2018, wore black in support of the women who have spoken out about sexual predators in recent months.
