Introduction :
The Seven Wonders of the World,which the genesis list is unknow, are all seven of the most amazing ancient world architectural and artistic works.These works relate to accomplishmentsthat are well beyond the common proportions.These works showed us that with rudimentary means,architects and builders of the time were able, with hard work, ingenuity and prodigious books (Greek :''thaumasia'').The popularity of those monuments followed the political and economic influence of the cities,and the construction of an achitectural element was imposing which dediated this dominance : Memphis,Ephesus,Halicarnassus,Rhodes,Babylon, Olympia and Alexndria.So that if the monument was the emblem of the city,both of their fates were inevitably linked.
These seven works were : the pyramid of Cheops at Giza,the hanging gardens of Babylon,the statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple o Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.
Of the seven Wonders, only one now remains:the pyramid of Cheops.
Victoria falls :
Their are many different types of seven wonders of the world:Modern ones,natural ones,the new 7 wonders...etc,The one i choose belong to the natural one which is victoria falls :
Victoria Falls, or Mosi-oa-Tunya (Tokaleya Tonga: the Smoke that Thunders), is a waterfall in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, it is classified as the largest, based on its width of 1,708 metres (5,604 ft) and height of 108 metres (354 ft), resulting in the world's largest sheet of falling water. Victoria Falls is roughly twice the height of North America's Nagara Falls and well over twice the width of its Horseshoe Falss. In height and width Victoria Falls is rivalled only by Argentina and Brazil's Iguazu Falls.
