Junior Recruitment Consultant (International Division)
My client is a long established recruitment consultancy focussing on the sourcing and selection of professional personnel for the construction sector, domestically and internationally.
• In line with the continued growth of our International market share and to meet the demands of our client base we are currently seeking applications for the post of Junior Recruitment Consultant based in our Dublin City Centre office.
• The suitable candidate should have a third level qualification, a keen interest in sales and business development, enjoy dealing with people and have a focus on the delivery of best in class service.
• The role will involve the attraction of candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a wide range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. Screening candidates, interviewing them, conducting background checks and finally matching them to client’s requirements will be key elements in the role.
• As you develop in the role you will also provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities. The opportunity to travel internationally in order to meet with clients and candidates will also form part of your development as a Recruitment Consultant.
Among the duties you will perform will be:
• Using a variety of media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers
• Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
• Using candidate databases to find the right person for the client’s vacancy
• Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates
• Preparing suitable Candidate Presentation material
• Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
• Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
• Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
• Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
• Informing candidates about the results of their interviews
