Earthquakes, is one of the most dangerous nature features that occur daily in different regions of different countries. It occurs because of tectonic plates movement and sometimes an earthquake can cause of a tsunami and maybe a volcano. It can cause serious damage to the environment and to people, and because of it some countries can not afford to repair and restore all broken buildings. In this essay we are gonna talk and discover 2 earthquakes that occurred mostly in this century.

There is 2 huge earthquake that occured in 2018,

One of them is a Russian earthquake that was active on tuesday, december 18. It exactly occured in the location of ring of fire, next to Japan. The statistics are telling that this earthquake was very strong and also was represented on richters scale as 7 units. Few minutes after the earthquake happened a tsunami covered this part of Russia, it wasn't a huge one but it also caused additional damage to the russian coast. Russia could not prevent their self of the earth quake but they could of the tsunami. It is obvious that if a earthquake occurs to the sea, ocean or lake we will surely have a tsunami because of the amount of energy sent by the tectonic plates to the body of water.

Russia could basically do a very fast evacuation of people from the coast next to the epicentre.We can already guess that when the earthquake happened people were shocked and started panicking which didn't really influence the situation. Somehow we can understand those people because we would also be in this state of mind if something like that happened to us, but the most important for them is to know basic rules of comportment while this situation.

RIA and TASS(russian news agencies) reported that no threat by the tsunami to the population but the damage came to the buildings and farms. But the problem is that people didn't feel any shaking at first but the tsunami that was caused by the earthquake destroyed most of the cities and settlements.

The reconstruction of the damage that brought the earthquake+the tsunami would be easy Russia. Because Russia is a high income country or otherwise: HIC’s.

Russia fast reconstructed the coast and helped people to find houses to live in, medication for people that got to hospital and food for people that were temporarily settled out of their homes or their home was just destroyed.

In conclusion:

Russian earthquake made damage to buildings but not to people, it brought a bit of khaos and a lot of money spent on the reconstruction. This earthquake was dangerous and effective for russian coast.

Another earthquake that affected our earth crust was an Indonesian earthquake. Which occured on september 28, 2018. Its magnitude was 7.5 and was 9 on richter scale which means it was very violent. The earthquake actually caused a tsunami which was huge and destroyed a very big part of Indonesia. The cause of the earthquake was the convergent slide of the plate tectonics.

The hypocentre and the epicentre of the earthquake was surrounded by water so it made no sense to evacuate people because since the island is so little the tsunami caused by this earthquake could cover all the island and so the evacuation could take too
