Technology for centuries

Technology is what everyone had always been talking about for centuries. That is because everything that surrounds us is considered as technology may it be fire, wood or anything that help us go through our daily lives and make things a lot easier. Technology had changed people’s lives around the world considerably from the old days until today and even tomorrow. Thus, technology and its impacts can be a highly debated issue.
We may wonder to what extent new technologies adapted to our daily professional activity.
From here, I will proceed by giving my subjective views regarding this matter.

To begin with, new technologies as we know today are generally hitech tools such as smartphones, computers, etc… Where I grew up, coming from a third world country, I haven’t had enough access through this tools and they weren’t that much developed as today. The most convenient tool that I had was a landline which allowed me to talk with my parents living across the globe.
Later on, this New technology had grown popular in every areas of the world, and eventually it had reached my hometown. The idea of those new technologies excited most of the young generations like me.  I became hooked into those as a new kind of entertainment, as a way of informing oneself and as a better tool of communication. Those tools made a significant change in my life and they surely contributed a lot of bringing me where I am today. They are and will stay as a great help in a lot of aspects in my life from leisure to personal activities and even professional activities. They will surely continue to help me throughout my education up to the day that I start working as everything related to the business industry are using these tools.
However, they are initiating more and more debates due to social issues they are having conflictions with. They might one day replace my future human colleagues or might even replace me myself.

As a conclusion, new technologies will continue to become popular and improved throughout my life but I and each one of us must watch out and must be cautious to how they are being developed because they might one day become a threat and not stay as helping tools anymore.

Our company, although being the country’s market leader is currently in a delicate situation because it seems that our market is gradually decreasing these past few quarters and that’s the reason why our CEO wanted us to have this meeting right away.

We must find out ways to get back in our track and jump start our sales. Our marketing strategies don’t seem to be as efficient as they were before due to higher competitions who are starting to benefit with our decrease in productivity. As you may know, we launched a market research a few weeks ago and I just got the phone call stating that the results have been sent to me. According to this research, we must target the mass-market which means we have to launch new products and boost our advertising campaigns by creating more billboards and try to distribute vouchers. We must also increase our visibility by creating more point of sales especially in malls which are constructed recently to different regions across the country. You must all work hard to acquire contracts from these malls and don’t forget that malls situated in agglomerates are the best locations as they have this luxury image and as they appeal to our loyal clients.
