The hero I choose is Martin Luther King. He was born in January 1929 in Atalanta and he died assassinated at the age of 39. He was a pastor in a batiste church and he fought all his life against racial segregation in the United Sates and he also fought for the civils rights of Africa American.

For me and for many people he can be considered as a hero because he did some important achievements. For example, he organized a boycott of the transit system in the United States which lasted more than a year, a lot of African American didn’t use public buses in this period of boycott because they couldn’t sit in front of the buses.

He also organized the March on Washington, where more than 200 thousand support him. In this march he gives the most important speech in modern history, “I have a dream”, in which he delivers a message of hope for all the communities.

I choose him because he is the symbol of non-violence, liberty and equality for all the people especially for the African American.

Martin Luther King inspire me because his achievements have change the history of his country, and he did exceptional actions despite the colour of his skins and all the problems that go with it, in this period. Today black and withe people are treated as equal and an African American was elected president in the United States.
