I.Presentation of Australia[pic 1][pic 2]

The Australia was discovered by James Cook ,an European in the seventeen century but some indigenous lived on this territory.It was an ancient English colony untill 26th January 1788.Australia is located in oceania and situated in the southern hemisphere.Today 23 million of people live in this country and we can still find indigenous in the bush.In the bush there are not many schools so children who cannot get to school use a radio to hear their teachers' lessons.The capital is Canberra.The national sport is cricket,the first Australian cricket team which played overseas was the 1868 Aboriginal cricket tour of England.

The principe:Cricket is a bat and ball game, played between two teams of eleven players each. One team bats, attempting to score runs, while the other bowls and fields the ball, attempting to restrict the scoring and dismiss the batsmen. The objective of the game is for a team to score more runs than its opponent. In some forms of cricket, it may also be necessary to dismiss the opposition in order to win the match, which would otherwise be drawn.

The Australian flag looks like the British flag.It is a flag with predominant colour blue containing six stars of different sizes.Above to the left of the flag,we can see a small British flag:it shows that it is about an ancient British colony.The star under the British flag represent the six states of the Australia (Tasmania,Victoria,New South Wales, Queensland,South Australia,Western Australia,Nothern Territory).

It had for animals symbols:Kangarou it's a mammal that moves leaping and has a pocket on his belly to carry his child;Koala is another mammal, it feeds on eucalyptus leaves and sleeps a lot but he is endangered.

It had for national food:Fantales,they are made with taffy

II.Places to Discover

The bush is situated in the middle of the Australia,it's dangerous to do fire and we can get lost easily  

Moreover we can see wonderfull place as the Ayers Rock located in the Northern Territory,It is the world's monolith and an aboriginal sacred site.

The great barrier reef is made up of coral and seaweed,it is the world's largest living structure more than 2600 kilometers and with 350 000 of surface.Like the Koala the great barrier reef is threatened by the global warming caused by greenhouse effect wich destroy the environement and lot of species.

The Sydney's opera is located in the harbor of Sydney,it was made at the XX century.His architecture original suggests  the sail of a boat.Today it is an attraction touristic.

III.Dangerous animals 

In australia we can find lot of species dangerous,as crocodiles wich can eat you in the river as sharks in the sea .

If you camp in the bush becareful of spiders and snakes,they are big,dangerous.You can also meet dingo,it look like a dog,he is brown and it lives in pack so it can be dangerous if you are alone in the bush. 

But the biggest predator in the Australia is jellifish they can kill a man in 5 minute.Each years, about 50 people die from their bite. Its tentacules measures 1 at 4 meters.
