Hi Alex!
It was so nice to receive your letter, I couldn’t wait to read it. The last time we talk, you said that we were going to keep in touch, but you’ve never replied back. Anyway, I think that I’m the best one of our friends to tell you about the different ways to practise English, because I spent so much time doing that as a child.
First of all, I would recommend you to change the language of your devices to English because it may help you improve your vocabulary. Reading everything may also improve your abilities. One thing that has helped me so much is watching TV shows and films in their original version with subtitles to become more familiar with the sounds and the pronunciation. But the best way to practise English is joining an academy or a group to do so, since everyone in the class will correct each other’s mistakes and, if one you is native, it will be the best. The one I was in had amazing teachers who helped me achieve the English level that I have nowadays, and it was very funny to go to classes. I reasure you will have so much fun!
The last advice I can give you is not to stress yourself about it. Everyone learns at it’s own pace! Although, you can send me emails to practise, and even we can’t manage to meet and talk in English. I’m free all the weekends, so feel free to ask when you want!
Best wishes from your friend,
xxxxx
