Nowadays, more and more people decide to immigrate. They might be political refugees, or they might be running away from poverty while sometimes, people just move for work. Anyway, fitting and blend in a new society always seems quite harsh, some are even torn between two cultures.

To what extent is it difficult for an immigrant to integrate into a new country ?

First of all, when people immigrate, they often are totally ignorant of the language spoken in their new country and about its culture. Doing so, they encounter difficulties with speaking to locals, which is the best way to make friends. Moreover, the barrier of the language sometimes leads locals to think that you don’t really want to be a part of their community.

Indeed, some people are rather narrow-minded. That is to say they don’t accept foreign people in their country, they leave them out. They base their prejudices on the difference of religion or their different skin color. Because of discriminations, immigrants are grappling to find a job which is not too unrewarding to earn their living, unfairly they have to work way harder than others to get some credit. Unfortunately, they barely succeed in providing for their family and it’s more difficult to them to rent or buy a decent house.

To put it in a nutshell, immigrants have to cope with different issues which are unfair. People are prejudiced about them by thinking they’re distrustful.
