To conclude , Global city bring positive aspect like more money more works and more comfort but they bring also negative aspect like racism, overpopulation, pollution or traffic jam

Introduction :

I’m going to talk about the notion «space & exchange». To begin with I would like to give a definition of space and exchange. Nowadays the different spaces of the world is more and more connected to each other. The exchanges can appear in different forms like: people, trade or information. In order to illustrate this notion, I will answer this question : What impact do global cities have on people’s lives ?

A global city is an international platform of commerce, technology and cultural exchanges.

In a global city, there is different population mix and exchanges.

I/ Good aspect of global cities.

First of all I will talk about one of the good aspect of an global cities and this is evolution.

To illustrate this good aspect I will take the picture of Singapore. In the past this city was a fisherman village and now thanks to international exchange Singapore is a rich global city. And this evolution impact on Singaporean lives.

Secondly I will talk about multicultural. In illustrate this I will take picture in page 43.

In this picture we can see different nationalities and religions.

With all this differences we can see a unity in this picture.

This picture mean «no to racism» but it also shows education leads to tolerance. And it illustrates equality between children.

This picture represents ideals, multi cultural London and this representation is a typical of a global city
