In America, the congress is composed of one hundred senators wich means sénateurs and of four undred thirty five representatives wich mean representant.The congress chose and vote the laws, he has the legislative power.
In this domentary we follow the Alexandra OCASIO-CORTEZ political campaign and also the campaign of Paula JEAN, Cory BUSH and Amy VILELA wich are simple women without political experience, who whants to run for the representatives elections in 2019.
All these womens stop their jobs, their life and pay a lot to defend the causes that are close to their heart like too expensive studies, racism, poor family who cannot pay they rents, the police violences against black people like Michael BROWN, prohibiden abortion, immigrants who lives in bad conditions, transgendered people who cannot become soldier and a lot of other causes.
At the beginning of the documentary, we can see the message of a lot of simple persons who whant to introduce them at the elections to represents ordinary peoples.
So Alexandra is going to have a very difficult politic campaign againts a rich and famous politic man M.Crowly. To convince people to vote for her, she moves in poor districts like Queen and Bronx where she talk with people and presents her idieas and her wish to bring health assurance for all peoples in America.
As you go along, Alexandra brought more and more people to support her and participate at donnations for her campaign.
During her campaign, she had the opportunity to go on an American radio and to have a debate with her opponent M Crowley who wants to participate at the primary New York elections to.
Finally, Alexendra win the elections and she just thanks to all people who belive in her and i think she's going to change the world at her level.
Unfortunately, Paula JEAN lost her elections but for me it was a big progress to see normal womans, black people and poor family introduce themself and supoort elections like rich, famous and regualars politics mans
