Notion de progrès : to what extent the human society progress and the nature could cohabit ?

INTRO

the progress can have a lot of different meaning to me, it represents a movement toward a goal or an higher stage,

this is why i chose idea of progress to illustrate the theme of the urbanization and nature, cause we can say that this could be real progress, if humanity could success to head for (= se dirige) a future where humanity progress could coexists with the protection of the environment.

This is why I wonder to what extent the human society progress and the nature could cohabit ?

I'm going to answer this question thanks to first : the new organization of the urban town nowadays and in the future, and then the key-invention which will allows to achieve an avenir eco-friendly.

Therefore i have choosen to speak more specially about three documents to illustrate my differents aspects, for reorganization i will talk about the rooftop farming and then present an new york city futuristic image and finally to represent my second and last aspect i will talk about an invention : the fluorescent trees.

PART 1

Nowadays our society deals with a real problem how to organize towns to be urban and green ?

One solution has been found : the rooftop farming this idea consists in using the rooftops of the buildings, which are unused space and put cultures on it,

it is a terrific way of making use of it and like that every corner of the city is taken advantage of , but also which is very important it is a good way of making nature and urbanization coexists,

indeed in polluated cities such farms can had balance to the eco-system, Moreover the city looks greener therefore it is a better atmosphere for people who lived here since to make grow plants brings oxygen so a fresh air.

As a result it is a « win-win » concept on an ergonomic point and on an ecological point.

A lot of other concept, lifestyle like this one are developped like tiny house which downsize house to be more ecological, or zero waste lifestyle.... in order to join the modern life with the ecology's question.

This is why people have reunited all these ideas, these concepts, inventions etc… To create a computer generated picture in order to see « how greeen could New York city be ? » this is how is intituled the picture.

On this one new york city is represented in a eco-friendly way, we can see vegetal walls on the buildings, the streets are transformed/turned into giant gardens with a river in the middle,

Also instead of cars and yellow cab there is only trams and pedestrians space, the city is litteraly become green !

In this picture there is also a futuristic dimension, indeed, we can see robots which are watering the plants, drones, and a new kind of ventilation which looks like a huge fan, on the building, these elements make us remember  the futuristic, utopian aspect of this NY image.

Really this picture, shows a perfect and healthy relationship between Nature and urbanization,  a good compromise, because here advance serves nature,

Now nature is included, but buildings have not disappeared but have been transformed.

This picture spotlight the idea that urbanization could have benefic virtues if we don't forget nature, ecology, earth in general, which are an essential need for human being, Progress means taking the environment in consideration.

This vision futuristic, inspires also other people, like engineer, inventor... To this time to turn the picture into reality, in an ecological future…
